IKUNA is a project that aims to connect artisans from Latin America with international markets. The project includes an online marketplace for artisan products and a collaborative community of artisans that share knowledge and collaborate to find training opportunities and share experiences. When a sale is done in our webpage, a mail or sms message (if he/she does not have internet access) is send automatically to the artisan, this allows the artisan to know when and where to pack and deliver the product from their local community. Our next step is building a Social Quirky where designers and artists upload their ideas, the community collaborates and votes for the ideas with a promise of "pre-purchase" of the products and the most voted items are produced by an artisan in a fair and green way. Finally, the products are deliver to the customers.
