Yerka is a new bicycle technology applied to the frame. We integrated lock with the frame, which makes almost impossible to steal the bike without breaking the frame. Breaking the frame/lock implies breaking the bike, making it impossible to ride it afterwards. This technology only applies to urban bikes. The main problem we are solving is the bicycle theft, but also giving a whole new range of possibilities to park your bike. The other benefits of our innovation are design and comfort. Our technology keeps the traditional bicycle frame design making it compatible with a whole range of different bicycle types. You don´t need to carry a heavy lock or other extra accesory to secure your bike. The lower beam of the frame consists of two arms that can be opened up to wrap around a pole, tree, fence or bike parking for locking purposes. The bike is then secured by using the seat post to connect the arms.
